As we all know, we have had flooding this past week. In past years, the lake level was managed much better. Since the new spillway in 1997, it is left to chance I think! The high water is only erroding the banks much more and more is ending up in the lake. I do appreciate the efforts to dredge the lake, etc. Please let those in charge that we need to manage the lake level for the reasons mentioned. It is not fun to have to drive into water to reach your home and not to know if people can come to your Christmas Party at the lake! People do make the lake their home you know. Let me hear from someone on this subject and thanks for letting me vent!
